Mobile Application Dutabash for Consular Services

Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa is pleased to inform that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh has developed a mobile application named Dutabash to provide online consular and welfare services to Bangladeshi citizens at home and abroad in a simplified procedure.

The app will be inaugurated in all Bangladesh Missions abroad in about a month. The High Commission will continue with current manual attestation system as well.

By using the app, the service seekers will be able to submit their document online for consular attestation. It will also provide guidance on service delivery procedure, fees structure and status of service request. It will gradually replace the current ‘seal-signature attestation’ system with ‘QR code’.

Dutabash application is already available in the Google Play Store. At present it can be only be downloaded to any android phone and will be available for iOS phones shortly.

We seek cooperation of all expatriate Bangladeshis living in Canada to operationalize the Dutabash Mobile Application.
