Information on Bangladesh’s Inclusion in SDS

This is for the information of all Bangladeshi students desiring to study in Canada that the High Commission is fully aware of the need and importance of inclusion of Bangladesh under the Student Direct Stream (SDS) and is engaged in pursuing the issue with the Global Affairs Canada and Canadian Immigration Authorities for last few months. 

The High Commission is also pursuing the relocation of Canadian Visa Centre to Dhaka. Both the issues are high on the agenda of the High Commission.

Suspension of Visa On Arrival 

Considering the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the Government of Bangladesh has suspended issuance of Visa On Arrival at all Bangladesh entry ports since 16 June 2020 to foreigner nationals excepting investors and businessmen in Bangladesh.
